The 29-year-old would have been disappointed with how he let in Raphinha’s penalty against Leeds, considering the Brazilian had struck it so close to his body.
However, Mendy did make a couple of good stops during the game and he could do nothing about Joe Gelhardt’s goal. He should have a quieter evening against Everton.
