Luiz Worried That Costa And Fabregas Have Helped Improve Chelsea’s Game

Chelsea are set to face PSG today on the 17th of February in one of the most balanced clashes in the Champions League. After last year, when the French side was close to eliminating the Londoners, Luiz is now worried it will be a lot harder to face his former side due to Fabregas and Costa. According to the Daily Mail, the Brazilian who basically funded the transfers of the two players after a record £50million move will have deal with the Premier League’s best attacking duo. Fabregas has become top in assists and Costa is leading the ranks as far as goals go.

The 27 year old defender who is now part of one of Europe’s best defending lines insisted that the two transfers made by Chelsea have brought balance to the team who were missing a strong striker like Costa and also someone to allow Hazard to play in his usual position. Before Fabregas came to Stamford Bridge, the Belgian international was all over the pitch and had to provide assists, score goals and defend.

Luiz seemed to lack confidence when it comes to defeating Chelsea. To be fair, the Londoners are top contenders for winning the Champions League. PSG on the other side look weaker than last year despite being basically in the same formation as they were for the past years. Some reinforcements are definitely needed in order for them to be able to make it through the next stages of the strongest competition in Europe.
