Chelsea faced their first defeat since the opening day of the Premier League season as they lost 2-1 to Liverpool at Anfield.
Liverpool took the lead after 29 minutes thanks to a Mo Salah penalty before Nicolas Jackson equalised early in the second half. However, Curtis Jones was quick to reply and handed Arne Slot his seventh win in a row.
Enzo Maresca will be frustrated as he saw his Blues lose, however, they didn’t struggle to create chances which will please the Chelsea boss.
The result places Chelsea sixth in the league and Liverpool remains in first place with 21 points from the opening eight games of the season.
