The Serbian was actually criticised for his positioning in the build-up to Jefferson Lerma’s goal against Palace.
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville raised the point in commentary, while Chelsea legend Petr Cech agreed with him.
However, Lerma’s strike was excellent and it would have been a magnificent save from Petrovic if he had managed to keep it out.
In the end, the goal didn’t end up costing the Blues, who came roaring back in the second half.
