Leipzig Set To Rival Premier League Teams In Battle To Sign £20m Rated Chelsea Marksman

RB Leipzig are keen on signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, according to the Sun.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Aston Villa and has been in impressive form in the Championship this season, having scored 21 goals in 29 league appearances.

Leipzig are hopeful of snapping up Abraham as they continue to look for talented young players in the English leagues.

The Bundesliga side have a track record of picking up youngsters from the UK, having signed Oliver Burke from Nottingham Forest, as well as loaning Everton’s Ademola Lookman in past seasons.

They also currently have Arsenal teenager Emile Smith Rowe on loan for the rest of the campaign.

It is believed Leipzig will have to battle Wolves for Abraham’s signature. The striker turned down a move to Molineux back in January but the Premier League outfit are said to be keen to revive their bid this summer.

Chelsea have reportedly placed a £20m asking price on the England international with offers expected to come in once the season comes to an end.
