Latest Chelsea Injury Report: Updates On Lukaku, Werner And Pulisic

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku twisted his ankle in the first half of the 4-0 win over Malmo last night.

Manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed after the game that the club’s record signing could be out for “some days” but didn’t put an exact timeline on when the Belgian international will return to action.

Timo Werner was also taken off before halftime yesterday evening with a hamstring problem, and it is expected that both players won’t feature against Norwich City on Saturday.

The Blues’ only other injury concern is Christian Pulisic. The winger has not played for over a month due to an ankle problem he picked up on international duty in USA’s 4-1 win over Honduras.

Tuchel revealed earlier this week that the American had suffered a setback in his recovery. While it is believed the player is getting closer to making a comeback, he remains a major doubt for the weekend, having still not returned to full training.
