Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was not included in the matchday squad for the 4-0 win against Burnley yesterday afternoon.

It is believed that the 21-year-old had some pain in his Achilles and he will undergo further assessment to determine the best course of treatment.

Captain Cesar Azpilicueta was also absent from the travelling party for the game at Turf Moor, with the Spanish international having still not returned to training after sustaining a knock in the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool.

It remains to be seen whether he will be fit and available for the match versus Norwich City on Thursday or for the clash against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge next Sunday.

Ben Chilwell is not expected to return to full fitness before the end of the season. The left-back sustained a serious knee injury versus Juventus back in November and he underwent an operation in late December. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
