Latest Chelsea Injury Report For The Week With Seven Players Currently Sidelined

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard currently has seven players out of action, but a number of them will be in contention to play Wolves next weekend.

N’Golo Kante sat out the 2-2 draw against Sheffield United with a recurrence of his knee problem but the club are confident that the international break will give him the time he needs to recover to feature when the club travel to Molineux.

Antonio Rudiger will also be ready to make his comeback with the German having played the full 90 minutes for the Under 23s last Friday night.

Pedro should now be back in training after Lampard confirmed the Spaniard had recovered from a hamstring issue that had kept him out of the last two games against Norwich and the Blades.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is also now fit, but he may need some time to build up his fitness before returning to first-team action. Reece James is in the same boat having recovered from ankle surgery.

One major doubt for the Wolves clash is Mateo Kovacic. The Croatian has picked up an Achilles injury and is now undergoing treatment at the Cobham training centre. It is not known how long he could be out for.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also slowly building up his fitness following his own, far more serious, Achilles injury. It was initially predicted that he may only make his comeback midway through the season but it appears his rehabilitation is going quicker than expected.
