Latest Chelsea Injury Report For The Week: Updates On Pulisic, Barkley And Rudiger

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has withdrawn from the USA squad for the games against Canada and Cuba later this week after picking up a hip injury.

The American international sustained the problem during the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, before being substituted for Callum Hudson-Odoi ten minutes from the end of the game on Saturday.

Ross Barkley has also had to pull out of international duty with England due to an ongoing issue with his ankle. The 25-year-old has not played since limping off against Newcastle last month.

Antonio Rudiger is expected to return to action in the next three weeks after undergoing surgery on a troublesome groin problem. The German has managed just one appearance this season, coming in the 5-2 win over Wolves in September.

In terms of other players, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is on the comeback trail from an Achilles injury, but it remains to be seen when he will return to the first team. Marco van Ginkel is also continuing his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury.
