Latest Chelsea Injury Report: Blues Handed Triple Boost Ahead Of Ajax Clash

Chelsea have confirmed that N’Golo Kante, Ross Barkley and Andreas Christensen have all returned to training ahead of tomorrow’s game against Ajax in the Champions League.

Kante’s return to the first-team fold is not surprising as manager Frank Lampard revealed last week that the Frenchman was close to a comeback from a groin problem.

Barkley has been missing since he was taken off in the 1-0 win over Newcastle with an ankle injury, while Christensen has recovered from a hamstring issue he picked up on international duty.

It is not such good news for Antonio Rudiger, though. The German was quoted as saying he was ready to return last week, but Lampard contradicted that claim on Friday, and the Blues have revealed that the defender will see a specialist today about a niggling groin injury.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Achilles) and Marcon van Ginkel (knee) are the only other players currently on the treatment table.
