Latest Chelsea Injury News: Updates On Sterling, Kovacic And Seven Other Players

Raheem Sterling has beeb left out of the England squad.

Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling missed the 1-1 draw against West Ham at the weekend after picking up a knock to his knee.

The England international remains a doubt for Wednesday’s game against Borussia Dortmund, along with Mateo Kovacic (calf), Wesley Fofana (knee) and Denis Zakaria (thigh).

Manager Graham Potter has confirmed that the trio are back in full training so there is a possibility that one or even all three of them could be available for the trip to Germany.

Kalidou Koulibaly wasn’t in the squad for the West Ham fixture but Potter has revealed that the centre-back was absent due to illness so he may be in contention for Wednesday.

Christian Pulisic is still unavailable due to a knee problem, with the American international expected to be fit again in mid-March.

N’Golo Kante, meanwhile, is on course to make his comeback at the end of this month, after being sidelined for most of the campaign due to hamstring surgery.

No return date has been given for Edouard Mendy (broken finger) while Armando Broja (knee) is out for the rest of the season.
