Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is expected to be out for a number of weeks with a hamstring injury.
The France international picked up the problem in the second half of the 2-2 draw against Tottenham earlier this month and manager Thomas Tuchel has described it as “quite serious” suggesting a lengthy layoff.
Mateo Kovacic has not featured so far this campaign due to a chronic knee injury, which has made it hard for him to train. The Croatian did take a full part in pre-season but it appears he will only be back available when he is able to play without pain.
Armando Broja did not travel to Elland Road for the defeat against Leeds last weekend. Tuchel hasn’t revealed the nature of the injury but he has said the striker would be out for days, rather than weeks, so you would assume that he’d be in contention to face Leicester on Saturday.
