Chelsea interim manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Marc Cucurella has a thigh problem.
The Spaniard was not in the matchday squad for the 2-0 defeat to Brentford and Lampard revealed after the game that the fullback could be out for a few weeks after picking up the injury in training.
Kai Havertz was also missing on Wednesday evening as he was still struggling with a knee issue, but he is likely to be back to face Arsenal next week.
Mason Mount has undergone surgery on a pubic bone injury, and he is not expected to play again for the Blues this season. Reece James is in the same boat, having torn his hamstring in the defeat to Real Madrid.
Kalidou Koulibaly is also suffering with a hamstring problem, but the Senegalese international could return before the campaign comes to a close. Marcus Bettinelli (knock) and Armando Broja (ACL) remain on the sidelines.
