Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile was not able to make the matchday squad for the 3-2 win over Newcastle on Monday evening.

The Frenchman has recovered from a groin injury but he has yet to take part in full training. A return for the FA Cup quarter-final tie this weekend, though, is a possibility.

Lesley Ugochukwu has not played since the defeat to Wolves on Christmas Eve due to a serious hamstring injury. No details have been provided on when the Frenchman could return to action.

However, Pochettino has recently confirmed that Fofana’s recovery has taken longer than anticipated and there is little chance that he will feature in any of the remaining fixtures.
