Monaco WON’T allow midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to leave during the January transfer window, according to L’Equipe.

The French publication claims that Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid are all interested in the France international but potential suitors will have to wait until the summer to make their move.

Tchouameni has been scouted extensively by the Blues over the last year, but there is not believed to be a clear favourite for the 21-year-old’s signature at this stage.

Other teams, including Liverpool, have also been suggested as potential rivals for Chelsea in the English press so, while the London club are confident that they are in a good position, they still have a lot to do in order to sign the player.

Tchouameni has moved ahead of West Ham’s Declan Rice in the Blues’ list of transfer priorities. That is mainly because he is expected to cost a lot less than the England international.
