Tuchel’s decision to move the 21-year-old into the centre of defence over the last few weeks has left many supporters scratching their heads.
James’s aerial ability and physicality means he can play as a centre-half but he has been far more effective going forward as a wingback than Azpilicueta, so it will be hoped he is restored to his more natural position on Saturday.
