It means that there won’t be much riding on the match against Leicester on Thursday evening, with Champions League qualification in the bag.

Whether that will lead manager Thomas Tuchel into making a host of changes, we shall have to wait and see, but it’s likely that a few players who picked up knocks in the FA Cup final last weekend won’t be featuring.
