Kante And Emerson To Start, Jorginho And Alonso Out: Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Palace

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard would have been happy with some elements of the performance against Ajax midweek, but there’s no doubt that the club’s home form needs to improve.

They will face a stern test versus a Palace side whose key strength is playing on the road, with Wilfried Zaha a key danger man on the counter-attack. So how will the Blues line up tomorrow afternoon?

Despite conceding four on Tuesday, the defence may well only see one change with Emerson Palmieri coming in for Marcos Alonso. Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori will likely keep their places alongside the Italian.

In midfield, N’Golo Kante was an unused substitute against Ajax, and the Frenchman could start in place of the suspended Jorginho.

Tammy Abraham will again lead the line, with Willian and Christian Pulisic keeping their places, but Callum Hudson-Odoi will no doubt be in Lampard’s thoughts for a recall.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Crystal Palace:

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Emerson, Kovacic, Kante, Mount, Willian, Abraham, Pulisic
