Kakuta Finally Certain Of His Future

Chelsea finally decided to let Kakuta leave for good after years of unpleasant experiences for both the Club and their player. The Frenchman who just returned from Vitesse Arnhem where he was sent on loan for the past two years will now join Lazio in a last minute loan deal that was long overdue.

According to Metro, Kakuta has signed on loan until the end of the season but some media reported a three year agreement either way he will hopefully finally find his form. The 22 year old was always an enigma. His initial transfer from Lens got Chelsea a 2 transfer window ban. He never managed to become part of a team despite playing for Fulham, Bolton, Dijon and Vitesse Arnhem over the years. His last loan contract was cut short by the player who no longer wanted to play for the Dutch side. His character is apparently a big problem according to Chelsea officials who still believe he is one of the best of his generation.

Since moving to Chelsea back in 2007, Kakuta has only made 6 appearances. He spent the last 4 years on loan but never got more than 15 appearances in one season. The French winger returned to Stamford Bridge this January hoping to impress Mourinho. Unfortunately for him, there was little he could do in such a short time.

There were rumors that say his potential is yet to see the light of day mostly because the uncertainty he had to live with while being sent on loan at the beginning of every season. Hopefully for the 22 year old player, the move to Lazio is what he needs to show the world why Chelsea considered him the best footballer of his generation.
