Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi got an assist as the Blues cruised to a 4-0 victory over Malmo in the Champions League last night.
The 20-year-old replaced the injured Timo Werner just before halftime and he set up fellow substitute Kai Havertz for the third goal three minutes after the interval.
With Werner and Romelu Lukaku now sidelined with injuries, it could give Hudson-Odoi more opportunities to play and most supporters on Twitter are hoping manager Thomas Tuchel selects him to start in upcoming games:
Give him a chance on the left with a proper sidekick in Ben and not Alonslow.
Cho's a starboy. He just need Tuchel to believe in him

I just wish he could be direct more often. Obviously had the space this time, but during matches I've seen him be overly cautious with his approach.

Give him a run of games in attack and you will get rewarded 👍

We have seen flashes of what Hudson-Odoi can do this season, and he will be hoping that he did enough in the second half at Stamford Bridge yesterday evening to impress Tuchel.
The winger does have time on his side but, if he is going to become a regular starter for the Blues, he has to grab every chance he is handed by Tuchel, just like he did against Malmo.
