“I Think He’s Going…” Journalist Makes Exciting Claim About Chelsea’s Chances Of Signing 52M Rated South American

Chelsea are favourites to sign Palmeiras forward Endrick, according to journalist Jorge Nicola.

The Brazilian reporter was actually talking to the striker’s father, when he predicted that the player will likely make the switch to Stamford Bridge:

“The possibilities are: PSG, made an official offer, France. I know that Real Madrid are very interested. I know Manchester City and United are watching. And that Chelsea are… it’s like that, it’s not information, but it’s a feeling. I think he’s going to Chelsea.”

Endrick has a €60m (£52m) release clause and the Blues would have to pay that figure if they want to secure the teenager’s signature, but it appears as if they are the leading candidate to snap him up at the moment.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has already said that Graham Potter’s side are among the three main contenders to sign the 16-year-old, along with PSG and Real Madrid, so Nicola doesn’t seem to be far off with his remarks.

Endrick has confirmed that he is learning English, which may suggest that a move to the Premier League is his preference but, for the time being at least, no final decision has been made on where he could end up.
