Journalist Confirms “Bust Up” Between Tuchel And Chelsea Star Who May Have Played His “Final Game” For The Club

Chelsea wingback Marcos Alonso had a falling out with manager Thomas Tuchel at half-time during the 2-2 draw against Wolves at the weekend, according to Nathan Gissing.

The journalist, who writes for Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, claims there was a “bust up” between Alonso and Tuchel, which may mean that the Spanish international has played his “final game” for the Blues:

Alonso was replaced at half-time on Saturday, with Saul Niguez coming on in his place, which does add some legitimacy to Gissing’s claims.

There are multiple reports that the 31-year-old is keen on moving back to Spain this summer, with Barcelona among his potential suitors, so there is a strong possibility that the defender has put on the blue shirt for the last time.

Alonso is no stranger to fallouts with managers. He was also left out by Frank Lampard after leaving the ground early following his substitution at half-time in a 3-3 draw against West Brom last season.
