Jorginho Responds When Asked Whether He’d Follow Sarri To Juventus

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has said he his committed to playing for the Blues despite speculation over manager Maurizio Sarri’s future.

The Chelsea boss has been linked with the vacant manager’s job at Juventus, and when asked whether he’d follow his fellow Italian to the Bianconeri, Jorginho replied:

“I have four years on my contract with Chelsea. I’d be surprised he did leave because we are third in the Premier League behind Manchester City and Liverpool, we’re in the Europa League Final and reached the League Cup Final.”

“It has been a positive season. Sarri is relaxed, even more so now than in other stages of the campaign.”

The midfielder played under Sarri for three years at Napoli before opting against a move to Manchester City to join him at Stamford Bridge last summer.

Juventus have reportedly targeted the Chelsea manager, as well as Lazio’s Simone Inzaghi and ex-Blues boss Jose Mourinho, as potential options to replace Max Allegri.

Sarri, himself, responded to the speculation in a press conference yesterday, stating he is happy at the Blues but wanted to have a conversation with the club’s hierarchy after the Europa League final.

Chelsea will face Arsenal in Baku next week with both teams looking to end the season with some silverware after somewhat disappointing domestic campaigns.
