‘It’s More Than A Bargain!’ ‘Want Him Back’ Chelsea Fans Frustrated As Club Look To Seal 26M Transfer
Chelsea have told AC Milan that they must pay the £26m purchase clause if they want to keep Fikayo Tomori beyond the summer, according to reports in England.
There have been claims in Italy over recent days that indicate the Rossoneri are looking to keep the defender on a permanent basis but they will still look for a discount.
Many fans on Twitter believe £26m is already a bargain for Tomori and they regret the club’s decision to include an option to buy in the loan deal:

This actually kinda breaks my heart. I want Fikayo Tomori to start for a big club, I want that club to be Chelsea, but it probably can’t be. If he wants to go to Milan and the club want to pay for him, then I support it and wish him well

From a Chelsea supporter’s perspective, the only hope of Tomori returning to Stamford Bridge is if Milan cannot afford the current asking price.
It is good to hear that the Blues will not negotiate on the fee but there is a feeling that the club may come to rue the decision to let him leave if he does go on to have a great career in Serie A.
