‘It Makes Sense!’ ‘They Should Just Hunt Nkunku Or Felix’ Chelsea Fans React As Tuchel Speaks Out On Pursuit Of Ex Arsenal Star

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has hinted that he would be interested in bringing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back to the Premier League.

The striker left Arsenal for Barcelona on a free transfer back in January but there have been reports that the Blues are considering an offer to tempt him into returning to the UK. After working with the forward previously at Borussia Dortmund, Tuchel says he could do with a player like Aubameyang who can score goals on a regular basis:

“I would be interested in the 79 goals [he scored under me], actually! We will not comment further.”

Fans on Twitter are divided on whether signing Aubameyang (who turned 33 last month) would be a good idea:

Tuchel’s comments have done little to dampen speculation that Aubameyang is a target for Chelsea. The Gabonese international will have a fight on his hands to get minutes at Barca this season following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski.

However, there have been claims that the forward has no intention of leaving the Camp Nou barely six months after arriving.  We shall see how this story develops.
