“It Is Now A Different Situation” Report Reveals Dortmund Have Changed Their Transfer Stance On Haaland

Borussia Dortmund would be more open to selling Erling Haaland if a club offers between £135m and £150m for the player this summer, according to 90min.com.

The website claims that the German club were “serious” about keeping the Norwegian international if teams were only willing to pay £100m but “it is now a different situation” due to the fact that Chelsea could pay a lot more than that.

Sources have told 90min that a sale is a lot more attractive to Dortmund if they can double the €75m they would receive for Haaland next summer.

It is believed that Chelsea are the only team in a position to make a bid now, and they have held talks with the Norwegian’s father, Alf-Inge, and his agent Mino Raiola, to ensure personal terms won’t be a problem.

The only concern is whether Dortmund will accept staggered payments of the transfer fee over a number of years. The Blues still have to work within Financial Fairplay rules so this is one issue that will need to be resolved in the coming weeks.
