Is Patrick Bamford Mourinho’s Third Choice For The Striker Position?

Patrick Bamford has had an impressive run while playing for Boro who recently announced that the 21 year old is above the Championship limit and is not suited to play in the Premier League’s inferior divisions. According to the Daily Express, the young striker agrees with Aitor Karanka and insists that he has a place at Stamford Bridge. He could be right though as rumors that Remy is going to leave grow more and more realistic. The Frenchman is very likely to leave for Turkey where several other players have decided to migrate from the UK.

Remy is under contract with Chelsea until 2018 but is considered too good of a player to be third in line when it comes to scoring goals for the Blues. With that in mind he will probably be given the chance to go somewhere where he is team regular at least for one year.

Bamford could get the chance to grow immensely next to Costa and Falcao who have a lot of things to teach him. The 21 year old has the right attitude to make the step to the big team where he can finally prove that he is not only good while playing against more modest adversaries but also against the big teams. The problem with Bamford is that he does not want to be a substitute which is somewhat impossible. There is no chance he will be picked over Costa or Falcao for that matter. He lacks the Premier League experience and even though he played in the Championship he still needs to find out what the Premier League really is about. He was rumored to be on his way to Newcastle but that was nothing serious as the rumor faded almost immediately.
