Is Barcelona Going To Provide A Replacement For Cuadrado?

Chelsea might have found a replacement not only for Cuadrado but also a competitor for Willian as well. According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona’s Pedro Rodriguez is expected to negotiate a transfer to the Premier League where he would be given the chance to become Chelsea’s number one right winger. Mourinho has been looking for player to fill in that position for a while now with Salah and Cuadrado failing to adapt. It is still a mystery why Willian is not the man for the job. It could be that he is more of a midfielder rather than an attacking winger. The Portuguese boss has complained at times that the Brazilian does not score as much as he should. Pedro could be on the same level as Hazard in terms of goal scoring, with the Spaniard being one of the most efficient right wingers in the world. Often obligated to move to the left or the center due to the fact that Messi played in his position, the 27 year old has barely had the chance to show his skills throughout an entire season.

Chelsea might be offering him just that. The third try might be the charm for Mourinho who has gone through a series of wingers without any success. Pedro is an incredibly hard worker and an amazing talent. Getting him at Stamford Bridge could be a massive boost to his morale and his game. Hopefully he will not get transferred and then go by unnoticed just as Cuadrado and Salah have.
