Ezequiel Lavezzi could be the perfect second striker to join Diego Costa in conquering next year’s Champions League trophy while wearing the Blue shirt. Chelsea seem interested in signing the Argentinian who has had a tough time making his mark on French football. The 29 year old only managed 60 appearances since moving to PSG two years back. He was in and out of form which cost him the spot in Blanc’s starting eleven. Just like Pastore, the forward left Italy but failed to adapt to French football. He never seemed to reach the same efficiency rate as once had while playing for Napoli.

Chelsea could revive the striker who would be the perfect partner for Diego Costa who is set to sign a deal sometime during the next week. With Hazard on the left, Oscar in the middle and Willian on the right, there would be no stopping Chelsea from winning all of next year’s most important trophies. According to the Daily Mail, securing Lavezzi’s signature will mean Demba Ba and Torres will need to move. Both had trouble becoming team regulars and would have probably missed most of the games if Falcao or Costa would have made it to London during last summer’s transfer period. The Argentinian forward is currently valued at £20 million but could end up costing a lot less if he is included in the Luiz deal.
