Chelsea are leading the race to sign Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, according to the Daily Mail‘s Dominic King.
The journalist is usually very reliable when it comes to sources in the North West of England and he states that Aguero is determined to stay in the Premier League when his contract at the Citizens expires in the summer:
Sergio Aguero is determined to stay in the Premier League and Chelsea are leading the race to sign him. He might be leaving Manchester City but he doesn’t want to leave Englandhttps://t.co/cuDjBQTkJJ

Supporters on Twitter are, for the most part, excited by Aguero’s potential move to Stamford Bridge, although some are sceptical due to his age and injury record:
I’m on my knees @ChelseaFC

Proper in two minds on this. It’s a no brainer for a season, but can he stay fully fit for that season. Leaning towards it being worth the punt.

Yeah like 10years too late don’t you think?

I’ll take that. Get him fit over pre season could be worth the gamble. It’s a free so got to be worth it. We just need someone to put the ball in the net

Aguero will also have offers from the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain but the 32-year-old reportedly feels he has unfinished business in England.
The Argentinian international has ruled out joining either Manchester United or Liverpool, as he doesn’t want to sour his relationship with City supporters. It means there aren’t many other options in the Premier League other than Chelsea.
