Chelsea could make a move for Real Madrid fullback Sergio Reguilon in the next few days, according to reports in the UK. Everton have already tabled an £18m offer but the Blues are expected to bid more than the Toffees for the Spaniard.
Reguilon spent the season on loan at Sevilla and was nominated as the best left-back in La Liga, but he doesn’t have a future at the Bernabeu with both Ferland Mendy and Marcelo ahead of him in the pecking order.
Fans on Twitter have backed Chelsea’s move for Reguilon:
I’d love this to happen ???

The 23-year-old would certainly be a cheaper alternative to Ben Chilwell with Leicester said to be demanding close to £80m for the England international.
Frank Lampard’s side will need to cut their cloth accordingly in the transfer market, and it appears they will be looking to pay less for a new fullback so can invest more in a bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz.
