Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is in advanced talks about signing a contract extension with the London club, according to reports in the English media.
The 22-year-old’s current deal with the Blues expires in two years time but there had been speculation that negotiations had run into difficulty over his demands to match Callum Hudson-Odoi’s salary.
There had even been claims that Manchester City and other clubs were circling Abraham, although it always seemed clear that the striker wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge. This latest update has delighted supporters on Twitter:

Abraham has transformed his career at Chelsea over the past twelve months. This time last year, it was speculated that he could be sold following his loan spell at Aston Villa.
However, he impressed head coach Frank Lampard in preseason and he has gone on to surpass all expectations this campaign, establishing himself as a regular starter and scoring 15 goals in all competitions.
