Hull V Chelsea: FA Cup Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will undoubtedly use the FA Cup tie against Hull City tomorrow to rotate his squad. After an intense fixture against Arsenal on Tuesday, there is likely to be a number of changes to the starting lineup at the KCOM Stadium.

The Blues will still be without Christian Pulisic with the American not expected to be back from a groin injury until after the winter break. Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Achilles) is also likely to return to training with the first team at the same time.

Reece James (knee) should be back in the matchday squad tomorrow, but Tammy Abraham is a major doubt after injuring his ankle versus the Gunners. Marco van Ginkel (knee) remains out of contention.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Hull:

Caballero, James, Zouma, Tomori, Alonso, Kovacic, Jorginho, Barkley, Pedro, Batshuayi, Hudson-Odoi

Hull manager Grant McCann has six fitness concerns heading into the weekend. Stephen Kingsley (hamstring), Jordy de Wijs (calf) and Kamil Grosicki (knee) could all be back available but Kevin Stewart (foot), Jon Toral (knee) and Norbert Balogh (calf) have been ruled out.

Hull City’s Predicted XI:

Long, Lichaj, Burke, de Wijs, Elder, Lopes, Irvine, Kane, Bowen, Magennis, Grosicki

The bookies have Chelsea as heavy favourites with 888 Sport pricing them at 1/2 odds-on. A draw is 19/5 with Betfred while a Hull victory is currently 6/1 at William Hill.

Predicted Score – 3-1 to Chelsea
