Chelsea are keeping tabs on Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract situation, according to reports in the English media.
The 30-year-old’s current deal at the Emirates expires at the end of next season, and the Blues are said to be seeking an experienced striker to provide competition for Tammy Abraham.
Supporters on Twitter feel a bid for Aubameyang would be a good idea, whilst they’d also love to see the consternation it would stir up among Gunners fans:
Hope this happens !

It is not beyond the realms of possibility that Chelsea would make a move for the Gabonese international when the transfer window reopens.
Frank Lampard’s side are said to be keen on Napoli’s Dries Mertens, and while Aubameyang would cost more than the Belgian, his goal record in England would make it worth the outlay.
The main question mark, though, would be over whether Arsenal would consider such a sale. They did allow Olivier Giroud to make the move to Stamford Bridge not that long ago but this would be on a different level entirely.
