Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek looks like he is getting closer to a first-team comeback based on a video that teammate Andreas Christensen has posted.
The 23-year-old has been sidelined since May with an Achilles injury, but he has shown that his legs are in full working order by showing off some questionable dance moves in the gym:

Fans on Twitter are keenly anticipating Loftus-Cheek’s return to the first team:
Hope he plays better than he dances. Can’t wait to see him back on the pitch

I patiently wait for his return along with my Cousin Ngolo. These guys are magicians on the pitch. They control and call the shot in the mid-field.

Loftus-Cheek suffered a serious Achilles tendon rupture in a friendly at the back end of last season with many predicting at the time he would only return in the New Year.
From the looks of things, he will certainly come back earlier than predicted, but when he’ll be available for the first team, it remains to be seen. He’ll need a number of matches for the Under 23s before making his comeback and it’s unlikely that he’ll establish himself as a regular starter straight away following his return to action.
