It is clear that Moruinho’s departure had a somewhat positive impact on Chelsea’s game. All those rumors that the Special One lost the locker room are starting to look more and more legit after the sudden change in attitude. Even though there is a lot to work on, the future looks positive as players like Costa and Hazard are starting to get their groove back. Willian was once again man of the match and showed that he is focused on the game and nothing else. It is safe to say that the Brazilian will not be leaving anytime soon no matter who is managing Chelsea. On the other hand, Oscar showed a major lack of consistency and what could be a weak mental status. He can be brilliant at times but he can also completely disappear. With changes going on at the club Chelsea might just consider an offer from Juventus who have been circling the midfielder for about a year now.

Matic looked a bit chaotic as well which is not good. Chelsea’s poor performances are related to the Serbian international who last season was unbeatable in one on one duels. As far as the game goes, it could have gone both ways. It would have been great if Oscar scored that penalty for two reasons: Chelsea would have probably won three points and most importantly, they would have had the upper hand over Manchester United who just lost 2-0 to Stoke. With this draw it is difficult to say what will happen on Monday at Old Trafford.

One more thing worth mentioning after a game is that Costa will be suspended on Monday which is a pity. The two goals scored against Watford reminded everyone why he was worth all that money. Unfortunately, the Spaniard picked up a card and will not be eligible for Chelsea’s attack who will have to go with Remy. Hazard is also uncertain after just returning to training this week.
