Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham are all interested in Amiens forward Serhou Guirassy, according to reports in the French media.
The Blues are said to have made an enquiry for the 24-year-old, who could be available this summer for only €15m (£13m). Supporters on Twitter have questioned why the London club would want the player:
I swear that guy is so bad, a very sluggish striker. I've watched him many times playing in the bundesliga prior to joining Amiens. I swear he's got nothing special

The equivalent to signing someone as unknown as Papy Djilobodji, only this time the guy’s a mediocre striker while the other was a mediocre defender

Is better for him to sign to Tottenham

Just looked at his record over the past 5 years, for a 24 yr old, he isn’t prolific at all. Such a random target.

Guirassy’s record for Amiens this season is pretty decent, having scored nine goals in 23 appearances, especially when you consider his team finished second from bottom in Ligue One.
Manager Frank Lampard may well be looking for a cheap backup for Tammy Abraham, to offer him competition rather than an outright rival.
It appears Chelsea are looking to strengthen their options up front, with Napoli forward Dries Mertens also having been heavily linked with a free transfer move to Stamford Bridge.
Out of the two, the Belgian would probably be Lampard’s first choice, but we shall have to wait and see whether either player is snapped up.
