Chelsea forward Joao Felix was hauled off at halftime during the 3-1 win over Leicester at the weekend.
The Portuguese international was at fault for Patson Daka’s equaliser as he gave the ball away in his own half.
Felix is only on loan until the end of the season but, if the Blues were interested in signing him on a permanent basis, reports suggest that his parent club Atletico Madrid would want around €100m (£88.5m).
That is a sizeable sum and fans on Twitter are split over whether the club should consider keeping the player beyond the summer:
Hes a superb player….We need him.U can imagine wen chelsea clicks fully with him on the team

I think Chelsea should not sign him permanently. Yes his work rate off the ball is terrible. Plus the hefty price tag on Felix, not advisable to trade

Felix is the future

Waste of money. Mount is better, and plays in same position.

Felix is actually worth 70-90M IMO

The guy is just young and have more room for improvement. He’s a better all round attacker and all that’s needed is for him to be talked to.Woth a Better man management he’ll do more. Needs to be signed at all cost ✅💯

I have said it several times that the guy is too lazy but excellent on the ball. Is because of that laziness that's why he is having issue with his coach back in Spain

Just send him back and bring a 9 and a midfielder.

For the price being quoted, Felix will need to do a lot more if he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old is a creative player, who can make things happen in the final third of the pitch. However, his poor work rate and his tendency to drift in and out of games, mean Chelsea should only consider keeping him if his valuation drops.
