Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is trying to push through a move to Barcelona, according to reports in the English media.
The Danish international is out of contract in the summer and talks over a new deal have stalled, with it now being claimed that he is in advanced talks with Barca over a free transfer in the summer.
Supporters on Twitter are not that fussed about Christensen leaving Stamford Bridge, with many feeling that it isn’t worth keeping someone who is not committed to the club:
He really wants Europa league football that badly

Let him go, honestly.. no point keeping uncommitted players at the club. Get Kounde/Kurzawa in as a replacement, then that's the problem sorted!

It does seem as though there has been a breakdown in trust between the club and the player. An agreement was reportedly very close at one point, only for Christensen and his agent to move the goal posts in terms of salary demands.
With Antonio Rudiger looking likely to leave the Blues at the end of the season, the London club may well be looking at multiple reinforcements in the backline.
