Former Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel would be interested in taking the Chelsea job if it were to become available, according to reports in the English media.
The 47-year-old is one of a number of candidates being considered with Frank Lampard fighting to stay in his job following a series of poor results.
Lampard is still expected to be given more time by owner Roman Abramovich but that hasn’t stopped supporters on Twitter discussing his possible replacement. When it comes to appointing Tuchel, opinion is very much split among the fanbase:
He is better than Frank.

Tuchel, personality may be a problem board. But he is the type manager we need, strong attitude & promotes youth, tactical flexibility & knowledge & good playing style as well. ( Even it's french league championship winning manager)

Nope he isnt a good pick for us .
Nagelsmann or Ragnick would be good but in summer not now. For now Lampard should not be sacked.— Utkarsh Rai (@hazards_fan) January 20, 2021
Ideally I would like Allegri
But if I am getting Tuchel over Lampard right now, I will take it
Don't want to hate Lampard but if this continues I won't be able to help
Chelsea >>>>Lampard
Don't get me wrong, I love Lampard still— Chelsea Voice (@CFCShah) January 20, 2021
I love Tuchel

I don't like the guy, if he can't take PSG above french league, he can't Lead Chelsea anywhere

No difference between Tuchel and Frank
Superstars yet failed at PSG
Same
The only difference is
Chemistry and time
Lampard IN
It's not like Tuchel is gonna win us the PL or CL— Stanley☻ (@Debarrister21) January 20, 2021
Tuchel is good. But honestly, he'll be another sarri. I don't know, managers like him don't tend to do well in the epl. Their football is too slow and structured. Similar to Van Gaal and Sarri.

Tuchel lifted two league titles during his time at PSG and has also won domestic cup competitions with both the French club and Borussia Dortmund. However, he reportedly has a combative personality and the fact that he has fallen out with senior figures at previous clubs means he may not last long at Stamford Bridge.
The likes of RB Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann and ex-Juventus boss Max Allegri are also believed to be in the frame so Abramovich could opt against a move for Tuchel.
