Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri was back in full training this week ahead of the game against Newcastle. The Italian has been out of action since aggravating a thigh injury in the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool last month.
The defender had started the season as first-choice left-back ahead of Marcos Alonso and fans on Twitter believe the 25-year-old should start their next match tomorrow afternoon:

Manager Frank Lampard felt that Emerson came back too early when he injured his thigh for the second time in the loss to Liverpool, and it may be the case that they will ease the Italian international back into action this time around.
The fullback has only been back in training in the last three days, and especially considering they are facing a Newcastle team who don’t score many goals, Lampard may opt to keep Alonso in the side as he can offer more of an attacking threat.
