Hazard To Leave Chelsea

Hazard To Leave Chelsea

After spending two years under contract with Chelsea, Thorgan Hazard will be looking to find a new team to perform for. Spending most of his time on loan with other clubs, the 21 year old seems keen on leaving Stamford Bridge. According to talkSPORT, Eden’s brother is being targeted by Malaga who were impressed by the way the Belgian performed for Waregem, a second tier Belgian team. There he made 73 appearances in which he scored 18 times.

Thorgan has always lived in the shadow of his brother who is considered one of the best players in the world. The two came as a package deal apparently. There is no explanation for Thorgan’s transfer who was never that impressive even while playing for Lens. It seems that the two brothers will be separated considering how big of a chance the transfer to Malaga could represent for the younger brother.

If a transfer does not go through, Malaga will be looking to sign a loan deal with the 21 year old who might just jump-start his career which was already supposed to be somewhere close to that of his brother. The Spanish side which was expected to become one of the few teams capable of battling Real and Barcelona, are now looking for low cost solutions to work their way up from the 11th place in which they finished last season.
