Hazard Back To Potential Ballon D’Or Form Thanks To The Awesome Conte

Chelsea hero Eden Hazard has claimed that he is back to his best for the Blues this season after a dismal campaign last time out.
The Belgium international has, along with the rest of the squad, been on fire under the guise of new manager Antonio Conte this season as the BBC report, bagging ten Premier League goals in 24 outings thus far, compared to four goals in 31 league appearances in last season, with the club finishing tenth. If you have friends or associates who like to place wagers on the Blues or any other teams some switched on companies could well soon be finding it worth setting up a way for people to place bets on matches and the system provided by price per head which is a premium service giving bookies a huge advantage over other services used for good punters.

Chelsea winger, Eden Hazard only seemed to turn on his form in the closing stages of last term, scoring all four of his league goals in the last two months, before going on to look back to his old self in the European Championships in France.

While many players fell way below what is expected of them at Chelsea last season, the turnaround from Hazard has perhaps been the most remarkable of all. There was obviously something missing last season and, whether that was Jose Mourinho’s fault or not is impossible to know.

What has certainly helped is the atmosphere that the Portuguese’s successor, Antonio Conte, has created since his arrival over the summer. It was well documented that those who played under the Italian during Euro 2016 were galvanised by his management, which led to a campaign above all expectations from the Azzurri and when you look at his career history it was always likely that the Italian would be a big success at Stamford Bridge as we wrote so compellingly a couple of weeks ago.

It seems, then, that the former Juventus manager has imparted that same feeling onto his Chelsea squad, having taken them eight points clear at the top of the Premier League, and into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, where they will meet Manchester United.

Albeit with a couple of canny additions in the summer, largely the same squad which failed so spectacularly last term look rejuvenated and, at times, unstoppable just a year later.

Conte lives and dies with his players, watch him for ninety minutes and he probably gets about on the touchline more than some of his players do on the pitch, he kicks every ball and is relentless in his micro management.

That sort of passion will not be lost on the players, who will see what their manager is going through for them and will look to repay him with their performances.

Therefore, whilst something has clearly clicked for Hazard and those of his peers who were well off the mark this season, it is clear that Conte has created an atmosphere within the squad which allows his star players to go out every weekend and perform to the absolute maximum of their potential.
