With manager Thomas Tuchel having confirmed that Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner will miss at least two matches due to injury, Chelsea will be forced into a reshuffle this afternoon.
Edouard Mendy will line up in goal, but Reece James may be handed a start at right wingback, with Cesar Azpilicueta moving into the centre of defence. Thiago Silva could be rested, with Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger keeping their places from the Malmo game.
In midfield, Mateo Kovacic may be given a start ahead of N’Golo Kante, with the Frenchman’s game time needing to be managed. Jorginho will likely stay in the side.
Both Kai Havertz and Callum Hudson-Odoi did well in the second half against Malmo so they could be given another chance to impress versus Norwich, with Mason Mount making up the rest of the frontline.
Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Norwich:
Mendy, James, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger, Chilwell, Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount, Havertz, Hudson-Odoi
