Gus Poyet Confident The Blues Can Win The Title

Chelsea faced Sunderland on Wednesday, beating them 4-3 on the back of Eden Hazard’s powerful 2 goal master-class. According to Metro, ex-Chelsea striker, Gustavo Poyet is confident the Portuguese manager was the missing piece in order for the Blues to win their 5th Premier League title. Speaking before the game, Sunderland’s boss also stated that it would be tough for his team to win even while playing on home turf. The Black Cats have managed some impressive wins this season against City and Newcastle at home so their impressive performance vs Chelsea was no surprise as they are massively improved under Poyet.

Poyet’s opinion regarding Mourinho’s positive influence on his former club was backed up by Chelsea’s Sunday win against Southampton and their win last night over his team. Chelsea’s former Uruguayan who scored one of his most impressive goals against Sunderland while playing for the Blues is a strong admirer of Mourinho’s managerial style.

Mourinho was a happy man last night as he felt Chelsea’s performance vs Sunderland was their best game on the road this season and he felt Hazard was excellent.
