Graham Potter Reveals Quadruple Fitness Blow Ahead Of Chelsea’s Game Against Leicester

Chelsea could be without Reece James, Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the game against Leicester due to fitness problems, according to manager Graham Potter.

James is ill and did not train on Friday so he won’t be in the matchday squad for the trip to the King Power Stadium this weekend.

Sterling is a major doubt due to a hamstring problem. Potter has revealed that the England international has felt some tightness in his muscles so it would be a risk to play him.

Aubameyang has had ongoing problems with his back in recent weeks, and he is also unlikely to make the bench for the Leicester fixture.

N’Golo Kante is taking part in full training but Potter has confirmed that the Frenchman is not ready to make his comeback. The midfielder has missed nearly seven months after undergoing surgery on a serious hamstring injury and he is not yet fit enough to play first-team games. He could, however, return for the Everton match next weekend.
