‘Good Player In Fairness’ ‘Not Sure’ ‘Should Be All Over This’ Chelsea Fans Debate Claims That Defender Could Be Offered In Swap Deal

Inter Milan would be prepared to include Milan Skriniar in any swap deal for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.

It has been claimed that the Nerazzurri were also willing to use Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez, but Skriniar is, by far, the likeliest to be offered in any part-exchange proposal.

Lukaku is seemingly determined to return to Inter, but the Serie A club can only afford to loan the 28-year-old, which is not an arrangement that would be acceptable to the Blues. Fans on Twitter are, however, split on whether a deal would be a good idea if Skriniar moved in the other direction:

The Blues do need centre-backs following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, and Skriniar would probably be a decent replacement for the latter, covering for Thiago Silva in the middle of the back three when required. At 27 years of age, he is also reaching his prime so he could be a decent acquisition.
