Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was on top form as he scored twice for England’s Under 21s against Austria in a 5-1 win last night. The 18-year-old opened his account with a close-range volley before finishing with a curling effort from outside the box to grab his second.
The Blues star has moved back down a level from the senior side, but supporters on Twitter are certain that he’ll be back in Gareth Southgate’s squad in short order following his performance yesterday:

He should be banned from playing U21 football

This is what we need to see from him in a Chelsea kit. This season so far his reluctance to shoot early has frustrated me.

Hudson-Odoi is a massive talent and his impact since his return from a serious Achilles injury demonstrates the hype around him is justified. The wide man has scored one goal and provided three assists in just four appearances for the Blues since his comeback.
The teenager is almost certain to start for his club when Frank Lampard’s side face Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon.
