Gallagher And Azpilicueta To Start, Pulisic Dropped: Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Take On Notts Forest

After a solid performance against Bournemouth, Chelsea manager Graham Potter will be hoping for more of the same when the Blues face Nottingham Forest on Sunday evening.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will keep his place in goal but there will have to be a change in the back four following Reece James’ latest injury setback. Captain Cesar Azpilicueta is likely to be given the nod at right-back, with Kalidou Koulibaly, Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella making up the rest of the defence.

There could be a slight adjustment in midfield. Mason Mount may be asked to play further forward, which means Conor Gallagher could come into the starting eleven alongside Denis Zakaria and Jorginho.

Christian Pulisic didn’t do an awful lot wrong versus the Cherries, but he is the likeliest to make way if Mount starts in a front three, with Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz taking the final two positions.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Play Nottingham Forest:

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Koulibaly, Silva, Cucurella, Zakaria, Jorginho, Gallagher, Sterling, Havertz, Mount
