FOUR Chelsea Players Return To Training Ahead Of Villa Clash In Major Boost For Potter

Chelsea manager Graham Potter could have Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang available for the game against Aston Villa.

All four players have been pictured in full training on Tuesday ahead of the clash at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Fofana injured his hamstring in the second half of the 2-2 draw against Everton and he was subsequently forced to pull out of international duty with France.

James, meanwhile, did not play in England’s 2-0 win over Ukraine on Sunday and returned to Cobham early as a precaution to have checks on his own hamstring problem.

Sterling, likewise, had a hamstring injury but he has confirmed that he is fit and raring to go after sitting out the international break.

Aubameyang has been sidelined with a back issue but he did cause controversy after being pictured in Barcelona’s dressing room following their win over Real Madrid earlier this month. It will be interesting to see whether the striker makes the matchday squad for the Villa match.
